The rental process has already started as interest is very high and many entrepreneurs are already looking to reserve a unit. Interest is also high among local entrepreneurs. The reach is very large; there are applications from all over the Netherlands and Germany, including from Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Maastricht. This says something about the appeal and magnitude of The Covered Market. Currently, there are already more than 380 tenants willing to rent one or more units.

The covered market attracts visitors from outside the region (radius of more than 150 km); and in this way ensures an enormous increase in the sales area of the (entrepreneurial) entrepreneur who establishes himself. For daily and non-daily goods, your service area is around 35 km, which means a significant expansion of your existing sales area. Many German tourists will also come to this covered market, which is housed in a sustainable and striking building.

The first rental agreement is for a period of 2 years. A deposit of 3 months must be paid and the unit must be returned to the same condition as upon delivery upon termination of the rental contract.
The unit consists of walls, a ceiling and a roller shutter. It is possible to make adjustments to the unit as desired, such as fitting rooms or supporting structures for clothing racks. Adjustments must be communicated and discussed when entering into the rental contract. Any additional costs will be borne by the entrepreneur. Costs can be kept low due to the scale and because our own technical service will take care of this. You are not allowed to make any changes yourself.
The plot and the covered market will be monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, you can close your unit every evening with a roller shutter.
The World Bazar will be open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Loading and unloading is possible from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

In this way they can benefit from trends and developments such as ‘leisure’ and ‘purchasing as a derivative of recreation’. The covered market will therefore help you as an entrepreneur to keep your head above water in these difficult times by tapping into a new market. Our aim is primarily to create economic growth and employment.
Where entrepreneurs from small towns would otherwise be in danger of succumbing to other trends such as e-commerce and chain stores, they can now increase their turnover by renting a marketplace within a leisure formula; the other trend of the moment. The price per square meter is still below that of a flea market. The World Bazar has great appeal to visitors from outside the region and thus ensures an enormous expansion of the sales area of the (entrepreneurial) entrepreneur who establishes himself. Conversely, no one will stay away from the well-known and trusted retail store in Winschoten when doing their daily shopping.
The visitors who have come to the market (recreation) remain in the area and move into the centers of surrounding villages and towns. Art and industry can also benefit from this. To actively strengthen this effect, arrangements are provided and mediated through counter arrangements. Tour operators will provide organized bus trips to the covered market.
The World Bazar is in a different segment (leisure) and attracts its own visitors from outside the region. The covered market is only open on weekends and public holidays.
